Bryce Dallas Howard or Jessica Chastain? Even Ron Howard isn’t sure.
The two actresses have said they are frequently told they resemble each other. Bryce Dallas Howard said in a new interview that she learned her dad had once mistaken Chastain for her at an Apple store.
“Legit. Legit. And he was, like, shook. He really was,” the actress told Entertainment Tonight.
“At first he was like, ‘You really look so much alike.’ And I mean, obviously, I’m incredibly flattered, so it’s great,” she continued. “Although something is wrong when people stop mistaking me for her. I’ll be like, ‘Gotta get it together. I mean, but we do resemble one another. I love it.”
Confusing things even more, the two also starred in “The Help” together.
Chastain has said she’s even mistaken a photo of Howard for her.
“Before my career took off, I remember one time being on the subway and I was looking at a magazine and there was a picture of [Bryce], like a small picture, and I was like ‘What am I doing in this magazine?'” Chastain said. “I actually had that thought.”
