SANIBEL, Fla. (WFTX) — The Crow Wildlife Center received two baby spotted skunks over the weekend.

Their mother, unfortunately, was accidentally killed by shifting solar panels.

CROW says spotted skunks can direct their scented spray at targets up to 15 feet away!

CROW posted on Facebook:
“We got some new patients over the weekend that are sooo stinkin’ cute! These two baby #spottedskunks were transferred to us from our friends at Peace River Wildlife Center – PRWC. They became orphans after their mother was accidentally killed by shifting solar panels.

When full grown, spotted skunks can direct their scented spray at targets up to 15 feet away. Thankfully, these two are still too young to have mastered control of their pungent perfume, but they certainly have that familiar stink to them!”
