MISSOULA – The long-standing Cat Griz rivalry extends beyond the football field.

As part of the annual Can the Bobcats food drive, the competition between Missoula and Bozeman to raise food for the local food banks, Mountain Line stuffs a trolley with donations of canned goods.

This is the fourth year Mountain Line has participated in the competition. The tradition began as their way of getting involved and giving back to one of their Zero Fare partners, the Missoula Food Bank.

Mountain Line parked their trolley near the Missoula Chamber of Commerce on the north side of Van Buren Street to collect food and money. Donation bins were also placed in the tailgate areas and at the stadium.

The results of the drive were tallied at half-time.
