MISSOULA – This week’s winner of a One Class at a Time grant, sponsored by Republic Services and KPAX-TV is Jefferson School Preschool teacher Julia Hall.
KPAX-TV General Manager Bob Hermes awarded Hall a $250 check which will be used to purchase for a play center including dress up clothes and tools to help develop fine motor skills.
Hall says her play area is in need of sprucing up, and this grant will allow her to meet the needs of her young students in several areas.
“The house area because that pretend play is so great for encouraging communication and language development, and we’re also hoping to buy some new toys and games that target fine motor skills,” Hall said.
