MISSOULA — Police are investigating after several shots were reportedly fired at a home in Missoula.

Missoula Police were called to the 1000 block of South 5th Street West at around 6:30 p.m. Sunday for reports that shots were fired at a residence.

Upon arriving on scene officers determined that nobody was injured and obtained a suspect description. Approximately 15 minutes later MPD located and detained several persons of interest at another location in Missoula.

One of those persons being detained is 19-year-old Marvin Seastrunk who was given a five year suspended sentence for his involvement in an altercation between him and law enforcement at Big Sky High School in March of 2018

Seastrunk's vehicle was shot by the schools SRO as he attempted to flee the school after being investigated for a possible firearm and drug activity at the school.

While fleeing the scene Seastrunk ditched his firearm and crashed into a car dealership

The other person currently being detained for the shooting from the 2020 shooting is 20-year-old Avyn Eder.

Both Eder and Seastrunk are being charged with attempted homicide and will appear on Tuesday in Missoula Justice Court.

MPD is questioning several persons and processing evidence at several locations from the shooting and MPD believes there is no ongoing threat to the public and the investigation is ongoing.
