Several detained after shots fired at Missoula residence

MISSOULA — Police are investigating after several shots were reportedly fired at a home in Missoula.

Missoula Police were called to the 1000 block of South 5th Street West at around 6:30 p.m. Sunday for reports that shots were fired at a residence.

Upon arriving on scene officers determined that nobody was injured and obtained a suspect description. Approximately 15 minutes later MPD located and detained several persons of interest at another location in Missoula.

MPD questioned several persons and processed evidence at several locations. Authorities said believed there was no ongoing threat to the public.
