HELENA — State health officials report three people died last week from flu-related illnesses.
Altogether, four people have died from the flu this season, according to the Montana Department of Health and Human Services.
Overall, Montana saw nearly 1,000 new confirmed cases of the flu the last week of January, bringing the total number of cases since the flu season began back in October to just over 4,000.
The virus has hospitalized 186 people in the state.
