POLSON — In Linderman Gymnasium, the 8-4 Frenchtown Broncs girls basketball team took on the 4-9 Polson Pirates, who before this season had a 66-game losing streak.
Sadie Smith paced the Broncs game down low in the post as Frenchtown won the game 60-30 to improve to 9-4 with the key Western A win.
It was a defensive battle that was also tested by being able to rebound the ball for both teams.
