If there’s ever a good time of year to buy an Instant Pot, it’s during Amazon’s Prime Day sale. Instant Pots have been one of the bestselling items in recent Prime Days, and we expect this year will be no exception.
That said, if you’ve been waiting to upgrade your kitchen, this could be the time to snag a deal. You’re likely to find incredible deals on everything from Instant Pots to stand mixers during Prime Day.
Last year, Amazon reportedly sold 300,000 Instant Pots at an incredible markdown. In fact, the Instant Pot was among the best-selling products in the U.S.
The Best Instant Pot Prime Day Deal
If you’re ready to jump on the Instant Pot bandwagon, the best deal you’ll find right now on Prime Day is on the Instant Pot DUO Plus 60. This 6-quart Instant Pot replaces up to nine appliances — along with being a pressure cooker, slow cooker and rice cooker, it can also make yogurt, eggs, saute, steam, warm and sterilize. With a list price of $129, you can get it right now for $55.99, a savings of 57%.
Benefits To Owning An Instant Pot
There are several reasons why you might be interested in becoming the owner of a brand-new, shiny Instant Pot. It will make weeknight dinners easier, and you can cook way more than you might think you can in an Instant Pot. Sure, you might imagine an Instant Pot coming in handy when making rice bowls for dinner, but did you know that it can also be used to make desserts? This recipe for Oreo cheesecake that can be made in your Instant Pot just might convince you to add this to your must-have list once and for all.
How To Save On Instant Pots
Last year, Amazon sold out the 6-quart Duo Instant Pot within just a few hours with their $58 deal on the pressure cooker, so don’t sit on this.
It’s worth noting that some of the best prices on Instant Pots on Prime Day might not be on Amazon, though. Other retailers hold online sales during Prime Day, too. For example, last year, Walmart offered a discount on a different Instant Pot model, the Lux 6-quart, marking it down to $49 from $79. (The Lux, an older model, doesn’t have a yogurt-making setting; the Duo does.)
Will Amazon try to match Walmart’s price this year on Prime Day? Hard to say. Right now, the Lux 6-quart is $59 on Amazon, and Walmart also has it for $59.
Need a bigger Instant Pot? On Prime Day 2017, Amazon sold the Instant Pot Duo 8-quart for $90, down from $130. The Duo 8-quart is currently going for $99 on Amazon. We’ll see if they offer a lower price on Prime Day 2019.
So, will you be looking for deals for your kitchen come Prime Day 2019?
