HELENA – A woman died in a crash on U.S. Highway 12, about seven miles outside of Townsend on Friday night
Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Amanda Villa said the woman was the only occupant in this single-vehicle crash which was reported just before 9:15 p.m. Friday.
The name of the woman has not yet been released and the cause of this crash is unknown at this time.
The Montana Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the accident.
