BUTTE – Butte’s rescue mission Wednesday got a major financial boost to build its new homeless shelter.
Town Pump has announced that they are making a $400,000 donation to the rescue mission so it can build its new homeless shelter at East Platinum Street in Butte.
The city has been without a shelter for about a year after the one on East Second Street was closed due to fire code violations.
Town Pump owns and operates over 200 gas station/convenience store, casino, hotel and car wash properties throughout Montana and Idaho.
