MISSOULA – Authorities have released the name of the California man who was killed in a one-vehicle rollover accident near Frenchtown.

Missoula County Sheriff TJ McDermott says Ben Weldon Teasley III, 54, of Maryville, California died early Thursday morning when his vehicle rolled over.

A Montana Highway Patrol dispatcher told MTN News that the crash happened at around 12:35 a.m. on Thursday at the intersection of Frenchtown Frontage Road and Broken Arrow Lane near Frenchtown.

The dispatcher says Teasley was traveling west on the Frenchtown Frontage Road when he drove off the road while going around a curve. He over-corrected causing his pickup truck to roll over.

MHP says Teasley was wearing his seatbelt and was the only occupant of the vehicle. He was taken to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula where he died.
