MISSOULA – The 17-year-old who’s s accused of leading police on a chase from Big Sky High School and down Reserve Street in March will not be released on pretrial supervision.
This ruling came during a Tuesday morning arraignment hearing that was continued until a transfer hearing could take place. The juvenile and his defense team are seeking to have all of the cases against the teen transferred back to Missoula Juvenile Court.
The juvenile was already facing misdemeanor charges of theft, drug paraphernalia possession and disorderly conduct before the March incident at Big Sky High School where the teen fled from police and resulted in a school resource officer shooting at the juvenile’s vehicle.
The transfer hearing is scheduled to take place on May 14.
