LIVE COVERAGE: UM details proposed employee, program cuts

MISSOULA – University of Montana President Seth Bodnar has released a draft recommendation that proposes employee cuts as well as the elimination of some programs — and the consolidation of others.

The "University of Montana Strategy for Distinction" — was posted on the UM website on Tuesday morning. Bodnar is now discussing the plan with the Faculty Senate.

UM will be holding a series of presentations and listening sessions to discuss the proposals in the coming days. Comment is also being accepted online.
