MISSOULA – An employee with Meadow Hill Middle School in Missoula has been placed on leave due to recent charges alleging opioid possession and intent to distribute.

Missoula County Public Schools spokesperson Hatton Littman says there is no evidence to suggest the individual ever used or possessed any illegal substance on district property.

Littman adds in a statement provided to MTN News that the individual has resigned their position with MCPS. The person — whose name has not been released — was a non-teaching member of Meadow Hill Middle School.
