MISSOULA – Giant, man-eating dinosaurs roamed free for a weekend at the Missoula County Fairgrounds.

Jurassic Tour is a traveling show that brings moving, breathing, walking, and roaring dinosaurs to towns all across the U.S.

It features more than 50 dinosaurs, some that walk and some that people were given the option to ride.

Not only was the the experience meant to be entertaining but also educational. There were screens by each dinosaur telling people more about its history.

Tour general manager David Eldika said that a ton of research went into making sure the entire set up was as real as possible.

Some folks had the opportunity to get an even more realistic look at prehistoric times by the use of a virtual reality simulation.

Eldika said the best thing about the tour is seeing how excited the kids get when they arrive.

"Kids walked up they see each dinosaur they get to watch it roar, breath, and got kind of stoked about it," he said.

"[Because] they’ve learned about it and heard about it but they never actually have got to see it," Eldika added.
