BOZEMAN – A 21-year-old Sheridan man died in a weekend crash near Alder.
The Montana Highway Patrol responded to the call around 2:41 a.m. on Saturday for reports of a single-vehicle crash near mile marker 25 on Highway 287 between Laurin and Alder.
The man was flown via Life Flight to St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, where he passed away Sunday afternoon. His name has not been released at this time.
Madison County Sheriff Roger Thompson said alcohol may be a factor in the incident, and that the victim did not appear to be wearing a seatbelt. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
