MISSOULA – Two men have been arrested after a marijuana grow operation was discovered by Missoula police.

Craig Coolidge and Daniel Hinschberger are each facing felony counts of manufacturing dangerous drugs and possession of dangerous drugs with intent to distribute.

The grow was discovered after police received a tip from someone claiming to have detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the building.

Coolidge was identified as the owner of the building by the citizen caller.

After receiving the tip, officers knocked on the door of the building. Coolidge came out and admitted to the grow operation.

Coolidge could not produce any medical marijuana documentation which confirmed the grow was illegal. He also told police that someone else was in the building named Dan and after police called into the building Dan Hinschberger emerged.

48 plants were discovered in the room along with 20 seedlings, along with three pounds of marijuana ready to distribute.
