MISSOULA – University of Montana Police confirmed that they are investigating offensive letters that were sent to a professor on campus.
Professor Liz Ametsbichler received a letter in the mail that referred to her as a Nazi and included other anti-German sentiments.
Ametsbichler teaches German literature at UM.
UM Police Chief Marty Ludemann confirmed the report earlier Wednesday and added that they are looking into the possibility that the letters are connected to previous offensive letters sent to other professors.
