KELLOGG, ID – A Missoula man is in custody after leading several law enforcement agencies on a two-hour long vehicle pursuit and manhunt in Kellogg, Idaho on Friday.
The Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office reported in a Facebook post that during the incident there was an officer-involved shooting, but no injuries were sustained.
SCSO deputies, along with the Osburn Police and Kellogg Police attempted to initiate a traffic stop within the city. However, the driver, Tyler Potts, 32 of Missoula fled from the vehicle and started running on foot.
No details were given as to why police were pulling the vehicle over; however, law enforcement says this in active investigation and will release more details at a later time.
