POLSON – Lake County commissioners issued an emergency declaration on Monday opening the way for county agencies to respond to any flooding.
The Lake County Commission states in the emergency order that severe heavy runoff from mountain snowpack is creating serious safety situations on roads across Lake County.
County officials say in the order that “flooding is posing an imminent threat that could cause immediate peril to life and property and could severely damage county and other public infrastructure."
