BILLINGS – A police pursuit out of Livingston involving a motorcycle and several law enforcement agencies ended in Billings late Wednesday night.

The chase ended in an alley between North 24th and North 25th streets just south of Sixth Avenue North. The suspects abandoned the motorcycle and fled on foot near the Metric Wrench business.

Billings police officers were called to assist once the vehicle was abandoned and the suspects fled. Billings officers helped Park and Stillwater county deputies and Montana Highway Patrol troopers set up a perimeter around the area where the suspects were last seen.

Police believed they had the suspects contained in a commercial yard south of Sixth Avenue North. After law enforcement searched the area and brought a police K-9 through the area it was determined the suspects had escaped before the perimeter was set up.

The suspects were originally wanted for a burglary which sparked the pursuit out of Livingston over 100 miles away from where it came to an end in downtown Billings.

The suspects remain at large.
