KALISPELL – Boaters have an additional opportunity to help prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species with the opening of another watercraft inspection station in Kalispell.
Jesco Marine & Power Sports on U.S. Highway 93 South, is hosting an AIS inspection station that is open on weekends and operated by Confederated Salish & Kootenai Tribes personnel. The station is open Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. from now through Labor Day.
Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks also hosts an AIS inspection station at its regional headquarters in Kalispell, at 490 N. Meridian, from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
