MISSOULA – It has been a stormy day across western Montana.
A line of strong thunderstorms moved through the Missoula valley around 1:30 p.m. bringing with it strong, damaging wind gusts of nearly 60 mph. Heavy rain and hail were also part of the storms.
As we move farther into the afternoon and evening hours, we’ll continue to see an opportunity for strong to severe thunderstorms under a cloudy, gray sky.
Storms will diminish Thursday evening, however chances of rain will remain high through Friday morning before tapering off later in the day.
