HAMILTON – Authorities in the Bitterroot are looking for your help.
The Ravalli County Sheriff’s Office is looking to identify a suspect in a recent theft case.
The suspect is described as an adult white male, approximately 20-27 years old with a short black beard and black hair and a thin build. The man identified himself as "Aaron McDonald" to the victim, which was likely a false name.
The suspect posed as someone seeking work and stole cash from a private residence. The man was driving an unknown model white van or SUV type vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone that might know the individual described — or who has had a similar encounter with someone matching that description — to contact authorities using the contact or crime tip buttons on the Ravalli County Sheriff’s Office app for mobile devices or by calling (406) 363-3033.
