Meetings set to discuss coming Eagle Transit changes

KALISPELL – There are some changes coming to the public transit system in the Flathead Valley and the public is being invited to learn more about what’s in the works.

Eagle Transit will hold information meetings from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on June 12th in “The Gathering Place” conference room at the Gateway Community Center and from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. on June 20th .

Among the changes that Eagle Transit will be implemented on July 1st  is a redesigned Kalispell city route featuring north and south loops with a new transfer point at the Gateway Community Center.

Other topics that will be discussed during the meetings include changes to city route and Dial-A-Ride service in Evergreen; the creation of a new Tri-City commuter between Kalispell, Whitefish and Columbia Falls; and expansion of summer commuter service to Glacier National Park.
