Dr. Kasey Harbine offers up some advice on how you can prevent food poisoning during the June 6 edition of Morning Rounds.


The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offers up more info about food poisoning on their website including the following: 

Food poisoning symptoms may range from mild to severe and may differ depending on the germ you swallowed. The most common symptoms of food poisoning include:

  • Upset stomach

  • Stomach cramps

  • Nausea

  • Vomiting

  • Diarrhea

  • Fever

After you consume a contaminated food or drink, it may take hours or days before you develop symptoms.
