MISSOULA – A meeting for folks affected by this year’s historic flooding in Missoula is set for Wednesday.

The Missoula County Office of Emergency Management is hosting the event from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Salvation Army building on South Russell Street.

The Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) will provide information on flood recovery, cleanup and what resources are available for affected residents.

Over 50 homes were evacuated in Missoula at the height of the flooding from the Clark Fork River in the Orchard Homes area.

Information on MARC can be found here, including the following:

Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC), can be an efficient way to deliver services to individuals and families affected by a disaster by bringing together multiple service providers in a single location and providing on-site assistance.

This resource is intended to support MARC planning and implementation in situations where communities have identified a MARC model as the appropriate mechanism for delivering services to its constituents affected by a disaster.
