KALISPELL – A 41-year-old Kalispell man has died is dead after a single vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 93 near Olney.
The Montana Highway Patrol suspects drug and alcohol played a role in the fatal crash.
Troopers were dispatched to mile marker 142 on U.S. Highway 93 at 6: 20 a.m. on Saturday.
The man was driving a Cadillac Escalade southbound, drifted off the left side of the road, hitting a driveway approach and then the vehicle rolled.
The victim was partially ejected and was declared dead on the scene.
Road condition reports were listed as dry and MHP reports the victim was not wearing his seatbelt.
The death marked the 59th fatal accident this year on Montana highways.
