Thirteen people stranded in the Bob Marshall Wilderness remained in their current spot near Gibson Dam Monday night, authorities said.

Cpt. Brent Colbert of the Lewis and Clark County Sheriff’s Office said Two Bear Air out of Whitefish will fly in first thing Tuesday morning in hopes of rescuing the group.

Searchers received a call at about 8 p.m. that the group was on the wrong side of the river and couldn’t cross because of high water. Lewis and Clark searchers also responded to a second call Monday night.

A woman was rescued near Hauser Dam after she was stuck in an unfamiliar location. She was not injured.
