KALISPELL – Every year thousands line up on the streets for the Flathead Valley’s 4th of July parades.

The 4th of July Parade in Bigfork has been voted best parade in the Flathead year after year.

Last year upwards of 10,000 parade-goers gathered downtown for the parade and the Budweiser Clydesdales led the way through Bigfork.

This year the annual parade through Bigfork will begin at noon with a Western Stars and Stripes theme.

Parking for the parade this year will be in the field at the intersection of Highways 35 and 82 and free shuttle service is available to downtown.

There will be no cars allowed in downtown Bigfork after 8 a.m. on the 4th so that everyone can have a good view of the festivities.

The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce will also be hosting a 4th of July Parade beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

The lineup will be along 10 th Street West.
