MISSOULA – Northwestern Energy says that a power outage that left nearly 2,735 customers without power on Tuesday was caused by a tree that fell into a powerline.
Missoula Police also said that multiple traffic lights were reportedly out around the city.
"Officers will try to direct traffic if they can, but are still being dispatched to multiple 911 calls throughout the city," MPD said. "Best rule of thumb is to be patient at these lights and don’t proceed through them until it’s safe to do so."
Northwestern Energy said that they were working to restore power Tuesday, hopefully by around 3:30 p.m.
