MISSOULA – The automotive group AAA has made its Tipsy Tow service available over the July 4th holiday.
The service is available to people in the Missoula, Kalispell, Whitefish, Hamilton and Polson areas. AAA says that an increase in holiday traffic and Independence Day celebrations that include alcohol make July 4th one of the most dangerous days on the road.
“With the Tipsy Tow service — by getting this word out there — it really gives drivers no excuse because we’re not only going to give you a free ride home. We will also tow your car home for you and provide a ride home for one passenger," AAA spokeswoman Michael Blasky said. " So there’s really no reason for people to drive drunk when they have this service available.”
You don’t need to be a AAA member to request the Tipsy Tow service, all you have to do is call 1-800-222-4357.
