WOLF POINT – A 29-year-old Wolf Point man was killed in a Thursday night rollover crash.
The accident — which happened in Roosevelt County — was reported at 10:58 p.m. Thursday on Indian Highway West and BIA Route 1.
A Montana Highway Patrol dispatcher said the driver was attempting to navigate a right-hand curve in the road but instead went straight.
The Chevrolet Cruise rolled and landed upright with the car’s front bumper in an irrigation ditch.
MHP reports the driver — who was not wearing a seatbelt — was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one else was in the vehicle and authorities say alcohol is a suspected factor.
