LIBBY – A woman is dead after crashing her motorcycle on Montana Highway 37 near Libby.
The 53-year-old Kalispell resident was driving southbound near mile marker 22 when she drifted off the right side and rolled at around 8:15 p.m. on Friday..
The Montana Highway Patrol reports the driver was not wearing a helmet and was ejected from the vehicle, resulting in fatal injury.
Alcohol, drugs, and speed are not considered factors.
This is the 74th road fatality in the state this year.
