POLSON – A phone scam is making the rounds in the Mission Valley.Lake County Sheriff Don Bell says his office has been "inundated with calls" from folks who say they’ve been contacted and threatened with arrest for fines or money owed. A caller is "spoofing" the number that belongs to the Lake County jail to make these calls, according to Sheriff Bell. He notes in a news release that the Lake County Sheriff’s Office "is not making these threats or demands of citizens."
