YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK – A Yellowstone National Park visitor posted this video on Facebook of a man appearing to taunt a bison in the Hayden Valley Tuesday evening.

The man did not appear to be injured as he yelled at the animal and it charged. Lindsey Jones posted the video and called it #dontdrinkandbuffalo but it wasn’t entirely clear if the man was drunk.

Park officials warn members of the public to not approach wildlife, especially large ones like bison because they can injure or kill.

Visitors are advised to always stay at least 100 yards away from bears and wolves, and at least 25 yards away from all other animals, including bison and elk. If need be, turn around and go the other way to avoid interacting with a wild animal in close proximity.
