MISSOULA – A two-vehicle crash near a busy Missoula intersection briefly delayed traffic on Tuesday morning.

A passenger car and an SUV collided at around 10:15 a.m. on Reserve Street just south of the intersection with South Avenue.

The force of the accident — which caused extensive front-end damage to both vehicles — caused the SUV to jump the curb and come to rest against a fence by the Larchmont Golf Course.

Missoula police say it appears one of the vehicles pulled out onto Reserve Street in front of the other causing the crash.

While the front airbags deployed in the SUV, there did not appear to be any serious injuries as a result of the incident.

The accident slowed traffic on both Reserve Street and South Avenue as emergency crews worked to clear the scene which left debris in the road.
