HUNGRY HORSE – A 60-year-old woman died in a house fire Wednesday in Hungry Horse.
Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry says crews responded to a report of structure fire around 8 p.m. Wednesday. Curry said the home was fully-involved when the fire department arrived.
The woman’s body was found inside and has been transported to the Montana State Crime Lab in Missoula for identification and an autopsy. The victim is believed to be the resident of the home.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
