PLAINS – The Weeksville fire that sparked on Friday afternoon outside of Plans now stands at 54 acres.
The Sanders County Wildland Fire Information Facebook page reports operations are going well as crews continued to secure the line and worked on mopping up around the perimeter on Saturday.
The blaze began on Friday north of Highway 200 near a trailer house that burned on Friday, but the exact cause is still not known.
A total of 102 personnel are currently working on the fire.
