LIBBY – The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has issued pre-evaucation notices due to the Ten Mile fire.
Pre-evacuation notices were issued on Saturday night for residents in the following areas:
- Edna Creek Road
- Lake Creek Road
- Swamp Creek Road
- Sutton Ridge Road
The Ten Mile fire is burning 19 miles of Eureka. Fire managers report a dry thunderstorm that moved over the area on Saturday also sparked several smaller fires.
There are four fires in the area the that have in total burned over 1,200 acres on the Kootenai National Forest.
