MISSOULA – Clean Air Montana Coalition and Climate Smart Missoula launched a new website on Thursday, which is aimed at keeping the public well-informed as we continue into this year’s fire season.

This new website will feature pages with information on health risks, current air quality conditions, tips on outdoor safety, and more.

The funding for this project came from the Montana Wildfire Relief Fund.

"What this website allows us to do as scientists is to, it offers a new pathway or another pathway to communicate new findings out to the community," said University of Montana Professor of Epidemiology Curtis Noonan. "And we’re already looking for better ways to disseminate research findings and make them understandable so this is a great way of doing that in addition to reaching out to health care providers."

Contributors to the website say is always being updated to bring you the most accurate information possible.
