MISSOULA – Drivers should be prepared for some changes on the Van Buren Street construction project this weekend.

General contractor Knife River will be closing two Interstate 90 ramps for approximately two hours at a time on Saturday, August 18th beginning at 6 a.m.

Work will begin at the I-90 westbound on-ramp, progressing to the I-90 westbound off-ramp and concluding with the I-90  eastbound off-ramp.

It should be noted that only one ramp will be closed at a time.

The closures are needed for final concrete work and are anticipated to last only through August 18th.

Drivers are advised to use the East Missoula or Orange Street exits from I-90 if possible.

The work is being done as part of the Van Buren Street interchange project which has included the installation of a roundabout.
