Poor air quality continue across Western Montana

MISSOULA – Sunday morning’s air quality was listed as  "Unhealthy" in Frenchtown, Seeley Lake and Missoula.

Air quality on Sunday was also listed as "Unhealthy" in Libby and the Flathead Valley was sing "Very" Unhealthy" air quality.

hen air quality is Unhealthy, people with heart or lung disease, smokers, children and the elderly should limit heavy or prolonged exertion and limit time spent outdoors.  

Local health officials say that conditions may improve later on Sunday when another weather disturbance moves through western Montana.  Most of our smoke appears to be coming from the Washington fires today.
