HUSON – The Frenchtown Rural Fire District was called out to a wildfire in the Huson area on Sunday afternoon.
The blaze started 13 miles up Nine Mile Road at around 2:30 p.m. with FRFD, the Nine Mile Ranger District and a helicopter responding to the scene.
The fire was pegged at 10.5 acres on Sunday evening with crews preparing to mop up the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
