LAUREL – A 21-year-old man from Red Lodge died Sunday after a two-vehicle accident that happened on US Highway 212 at around 8:30 a.m.
The man was driving a Chevy Suburban northbound on US 212 when he lost control of his vehicle and crossed over the center line for unknown reasons.
Authorities say he collided head-on with a semi driven by a 54-year-old man from Billings.
The semi veered off and ended up in the northbound ditch, while the Suburban rolled and came to rest in the southbound ditch.
The driver was pronounced dead on the scene. Drugs are considered a factor in the crash.
