MISSOULA – A 24-year-old Washington man died in a Saturday crash on Interstate 90 west of Missoula.
The accident happened just west of Saltese in Mineral County about eight miles from Lookout Pass shortly after 9 p.m.
Authorities say the driver — a 26-year-old woman from Kirkland, Wash. — was heading west on I-90 when she lost control of her Toyota SUV, and went into the median, causing the vehicle to roll over several times.
The male passenger from Port Orchard, Wash. was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was taken by ambulance to a hospital in Shoshone, Idaho with what are said to be minor injuries.
