Victor woman tapped as new Ravalli County District judge

HELENA – Governor Steve Bullock has tapped selected Jennifer Lint of Victor as the new Ravalli County District judge.

Lint will replace the retired judge James Haynes who stepped down on July 31st, before the end of his six-year term.

She is the owner of Boatwright Law Office, P.C. a contract attorney with the city of Hamilton and the Town of Pinesdale.

Lint is also a substitute Justice of the Peace for Ravalli County Justice Court.

She is a graduate of Tufts University and a graduate of the University of Montana School of Law.

Lint will now be subject to Montana Senate confirmation during the 2019 legislative session. 

The position is then subject to election in 2020, and the successful candidate will serve a six-year term.
