BOZEMAN – The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating several vehicle break-ins that occurred at multiple trailheads over the weekend in the Gallatin Valley.
According to a news release, deputies investigated more than ten thefts from vehicles at trailheads on Saturday. The sites included Sypes Canyon, Middle Cottonwood, Sourdough and Tuckerman on Goldenstein.
Vehicles parked at the trailheads have had windows smashed and items taken.
Gallatin County Sheriff Brian Gootkin said deputies are following leads and reminds the public to always leave valuables at home or out of sight when parked at trailheads.
