MISSOULA – It’s a girl!

Weighing 5 pounds, 13 ounces and measuring 18½ inches, Missoula’s first baby of 2019 was born to first-time parents Dusti and Jonathan around 2 a.m. on Tuesday.

Community Medical Center rang in the New Year with the birth of Ella, who was prompt and right on time with her due date being on Tuesday. Dusti says she went into Labor early Monday and started pushing right at midnight.

The couple says they are looking forward to a lot of firsts in 2019.

“I think I’m most excited for like a first word or first bath. We haven’t done a bath yet or anything with here. So, I’m excited to do all of that and watch her grow through that,” Dusti said.

“Even her just crawling and walking – we have a nice big backyard with a big playset for her already. So all that fun stuff,” Jonathan added.

Ella’s grandma flew all the way from Rhode Island to spend the holidays in Missoula and was there for the birth of her new grandbaby.
